Long overdue, but promised nonetheless, I give you Richard Walsh's very own entry into postage Valhalla:
Nope, I didn't write tonight's retro review. I drank bourbon and made a picture instead. Aye, t'was a long day in the salt mines, my friends. The review will be coming quite soon.

Hey! That's Nina's face next to the Stamp instead of Chloe's!!!
Hm...I think Chloe's head on top of that body looked more natural. (It's more her posture.) But I guess she doesn't exist yet - so good thinking on your part!! Nicely executed. Ooh, now I'm looking forward to the "progression of Postage Stamps." (Was it really only 42¢ back then?)
:)
Thanks, Brittany!
Actually, stamps were 34¢ back in 2001, but the template I keep using is stuck on 42. I was going to make a new template, but then I ate a piece of bacon and got distracted.
I live a pretty swanky lifestyle, I have to admit.
Hooray, you didn't forget! Good thing I chose not to bug you about it. Oh Walsh, in your incredibly short span on the show, you managed to be awesome and cool, and even gave Jack what's probably the only good advice that he's ever been given in the series.
Oh, and why not Milo?
Milo, eh? Does Milo belong among the titans of CTU like Mason, Buchanan and Walsh? I don't know... I'm not sold on the idea. Milo was a good guy, but so was Larry Moss, and we gave Moss the penny stamp. Milo maybe rates higher than that, but still, he was kind of a pain in the neck at times. Edgar Stiles versus Milo for the next stamp. Debate the sides!
Haven't been here in awhile, but this is awesome.
NOOOO. I knew I shouldn't have been ambiguous. I thought it would've been funnier that way. I just mean....you know....why Nina? (Get it now?)
But if we're being serious, the thing about Milo was that he died saving the girl he loved, and any preference in cereal isn't going to lower my respect for a guy who does that. It's tragic that I can't watch through season 6 to give the guy a fair verdict(honestly, I tried), but I can tell you that Edgar definatily did his share of whining in the series.
Hi Hatch!!! You do still exist.
Bacon, ha. Renee somehow got a 44¢-er I think. And I love Edgar. His 'exit' made me genuinely sad, whereas by the time Milo 'left' I was reaching the point of "WTF" reactions to random deaths. (Stupid writers, they managed to completely suck the effectiveness out of death.) Neither is really up to par with the Valhalla Warriors, though. I'd say, give 'em a Larry (1¢) Stamp. :)
P.S., Adam - clever way to keep the masses pre-occupied while awaiting the next review - turn us against each other, eh? "Debate the sides"? ;) (I kid.)
@Brittany- Yeah, I feel that way too. Edgar was a good guy, and I bet both him and Milo suffered from not having much of a love life. But I can't help but feel that the Larry Moss stamp was more of a joke stamp.
No. No joke. They are worth one penny. They are not warriors. Good guys get the Lincoln stamp.
Wait, why am I being so adamant about this? I don't even really care. I think that's a sign that I need to SLEEP. So peace, out.
EDGAR OR GTFO
@Adam - Bacon & Photoshop. Live that beautiful dream, brother.
Best. Coco Crispies. Ever.
By the way, if anyone starts talking about why CURTIS deserves a silent clock, I'm gonna go psychotic. That character did nothing but get shot and make crybaby faces.
Yeah, but he was great in First Wave.
I agree with Pelts - Edgar FTW! (Or FTStamp).
OH. So that's what GTFO means. *clicks*
Hehe. FTStamp.
I'm late for work too! Crap! Have a very Hurricane-free day, everyone!
Richard Walsh was the first shocking death of the series for me. I thought he was going to be one of the supporting stars of the show. Oops. Being a supporting star doesn't mean you won't die. I learned later that being a supporting star means you WILL die.
RIP
WHERE'S TONIGHT'S REVIEW?!?!
Excuse #1: It was my Mom's birthday today and I spend a good part of my Labor Day with the family at her house.
Excuse #2: I got a sick deal on a brisket from Stew Leonard's this morning and tonight was the only time I could cook it- that took 2.5 hrs.
Excuse #3: I ate some of the brisket. It was professional. Now I am going to sleep (Excuse #4: I haven't slept well for the past few days).
:)
Reasons why I am okay with all of that:
Reason #1: I didn't check the site until just now anyways so it didn't ruin my night.
Reason #2: If there HAD been a new review, I probably would've been compelled to read it right now and that's just not the brightest thing to do when it's late and you've got work (BLEH) in the morning.
Reason #3: One should never turn down an opportunity for a good brisket.
Reason #4: I'm freakin tired so I'm happy to cave in to my need for sleep instead of my obsessive need for The Jack Sack.
:) :) :) Happy "Monday" everybody!!! :)
I'm just going to add myself to the pattern and write this.
:)
Well, I hope everyone's day's doing well.
There's not going to be a Season 2 retro-review, is there.
@Brittany- Sure there'll be a season 2 review! We might just be dead by the time it's started.
Oh SNAP, y'all.
Yikes, I think I officially became a douche. Why do my comments end up appearing ten times more sinister AFTER I write them?
But seriously, I'm just saying, man. By the time Mason blows up, I'm going to be lying on my bed telling my great-grandchildren that eating women ou- SMOKING on a daily bases is wrong.
Ah, dammit, there I go.
If "smoking on a daily basis" is wrong, I don't want to be right.
Oh, I didn't mean anything offensive or snarky by what I said at all. Promise. I was just thinking about things like momentum, and realizing that maybe Retro-Reviews are turning out to be a larger and more demanding endeavor than initially assumed.
@Adam: You are wonderful! You have my full support in anything you do. (Well I mean, in regards to TJS.)
Irrelevant side note: My first thought upon reading you guys' banter was, huh? Pelty smokes? And then I realized that I was way off. And now I am tempted to add to the wrongness. But I will refrain. :) Ah, we're good people.
Brittany, I mean the same thing. I'll always remain dedicated to The Jack Sack(I really should re-phrase that), but Adam's probably a guy with a life, unlike some of us, and he can't always provide us with what we've likely taken for granted.
So Adam, take your time and don't smoke!
@Brittany - Well, that's no fun.
Hehe. I know, it is fun to be wrong. But I can't be raunchy. There are kids on this site! (BauerLuver, where are you? And don't be offended I called you a kid - I just want to protect your teenaged sense of decency and innocence. Seriously, you hold onto that stuff as long as you can. :) ) And...decent people who don't appreciate conversation of that nature! (Do you guys remember Granny Annie? Where has she been for the last several weeks? She's nice.) And lastly, the site's devoted to humorous and intelligent discussion of 24, not to the tangeants of its readers' corrupted minds. ;)
And that is why I bite my tongue.
:) :) :) :) :)
Consider me appropriately admonished. ;)
I check out for a little while and I missed a whole lot of double-entendred funniness. I gets whats I deserve.
@Brittany- Right here, I was in Ocean City for a week so I didn't comment, but I 100% agree with you, and wanna add my love and support to the Jack Sack tenfold!
Well, I have my first real hater on YouTube now. He's been writing tons of crazy comments, apparently with the goal of exposing how awful of a person I am to everyone.
However, he might make a point or two. And if so, all I can really say is that I think we are all flawed people, and that I'm not much worst. But I love ya guys I don't want you to get involved, alright?
Now he's being owned by all of my friends on YouTube, lol.
Hey Adam, I thought I would just offer a suggestion: If you can't write a review Monday night, you can write it another night, like Tuesday or whenever is good for you! I just wanna say this so we can finish S1 before next year, and also because you are such a fantastic and funny writer, I crave your reviews! But of course, do whatever is easiest and comfortable for you, I just thought you might wanna consider it! Long live TJS!
Yeah, posting it late is way better than not posting it through the week because you couldn't post it on Monday. But do what you gotta do, man.
Hope the new review comes up soon, it's almost time for me to get some zzz...
uuuumm...I don't want to nag or anything but it's Tuesday evening and there's no update at all...everybody ok?
No, BauerLuver, no.....he's not ok. Not ok at all. H-he's...DEAD.
I'm sure this is a sad day for all of us. Adam was a great guy, no, a great BLOGGER, and he made us laugh with his mindless jokes, which often made fun of Milo Pressman.
He was a hero. Not only he, but his sack as well. Adam was the hero of hero-ness, while his sack was the sack of sack-ness. He was funny, kind, and dammit, he made fun of Milo Pressman.
He and his sack might be gone, but they will live on in our hearts.
I miss him too ;)
Come on, gang- tighten up! Big update is coming tomorrow night!!!
The good people of The Jack Sack can't wait that long!
Everyone, check back here in about 40 minutes to see the link to my two baby sisters' masterpiece.
And, ladies and gentlemen, I present to you...

Nooooo!! Adam's dead!! :) just kidding...that was an awesome comment Spencer! You're funny :D And so are you Adam! Can barely breathe in anticipation for tomorrow! Dunno what I'd do without this site!
Whew! To tell you the truth, I was on the brink of getting worried. Glad you're alive, Adam! Hope the early autumn has been treating you well. :)
Happy...*thinks*...Wednesday, everyone. :)
Jack Bauer wants you all to watch my video.
Adam, please tell me that you still plan on this "big update" happening tonight.
Yeah, I'd kinda like that too...
I saw this a while back in my newsfeed, but... HOORAY! Walsh lives!
