24 Season 7: 8PM-9PM Sneak Preview

Hey gang,

I won't be able to watch tonight's episode tonight (oh boy!) but I wanted to write a quick note about what we're all fearing is going to take place- namely the death of a beloved character.

I have no clue who the show will kill tonight, but whomever it is, it's going to be a sad day for "24" fans. If it's Bill Buchanan, I'm going to probably not answer my phone for a few days (I'll be marinating in scotch). If it's Aaron Pierce, I'm going to go on a spiritual quest with the Navajo tribe... and then douse myself in Johnny Walker. And if it's Larry Moss, well that would just make this season even better than it already has been!

As soon as I get through tonight's episode on the DVR, I'll post about it for certain. But to the faithful Buchanan/Pierce fans out there- all I can say is: COURAGE.

Good call on Bill, that's sad, a big loss. Pretty dang good episode, but I’m dying to find out who Jon Voight’s character is. Ex-Top General? Ex-Sec. of State?? Just a real rich guy?
.
absurd thought -
God of the Universe hates
watching 24 on Fox

he would never create this
one day where so much goes wrong

I cried more tonight than I ever have for a TV show (or maybe even a movie). Okay, since I didn't start watching 24 till right before season 6, the deaths in seasons 1-5 were not as hard-hitting and sometimes were spoiled. Watching Bill die in the show's first airing, it just felt more shocking. I feared it but I still couldn't believe it. Bill is probably one of the best characters ever on that show, or at least, one of my favorites. And I always wanted to know what happened with him and Karen. They were the new Tony and Michelle for me.

What a sad day for 24 fans. Bill was a good man. I'm glad he got to die on the front lines of an attack for his country. He was always a behind-the-scenes guy, so this was almost his chance to have a gutsy Jack moment. He's always been a hero and always will be. Rest in peace, Bill.

It's a stupid TV show, but I've cried every time I've thought about Bill dying.

What is WRONG with me?

It's ok to cry- it's also ok to shoot a third-world dictator five times. Cope as you see fit!

But yes, to everyone, this blog is in full Buchanan mourning. This will not wash away easily.

Hey everyone. I too was saddened by the way Bill died. I think that's what makes it so tough. He died a hero. I think TPTB did a great job here,

Friggin' TV show plays with your emotions. That's why I love it.
