Never have truer words been spoken.

Yeah, this death is actually one of the toughest ones to get past, even though Bill died like a fierce warrior.

The rest of the episode just flew by, and I wasn't really paying close attention- Larry Moss acting like a jerk, Jack getting framed, the First Daughter going all Sherry Palmer on us... it all felt like noise on a train ride when all I could think about was Bill Buchanan, lying face-down in that doorway. Dead. Gone. What a loss.

That image of him are charred up, with the white of his eyes showing is still disturbing me this morning. Jack got to ice Juma, which was a little payback, but I hope we pulls one of those lines like he did on Henderson on the sub.... "Jonas Hodges! You are responsible today for the deaths of Bill Buchanan and (who knows who else). They were very good friends of mine." Then he blows them away. It'd be too much the same, but you get my drift. RIP friend.

I'm sure I'll go back and watch this episode on Hulu at some point so I can catch everything I missed while I was in a daze over Bill's death. After they blow'd him up, most of the rest of the episode was just muted noises and colors.

RIP, Bill.

So, as far as we know, this pretty much leaves Jack, Karen and Erin as the only former CTU LA directors still alive?

And Tony- he was CTU Director as well.

The most courageous thing ever seen on 24. Bill was one of my favorite characters and he was like a brother to Jack. He was a main character and he died as a hero. He was so brave that he was willing to give his life for the country. I think this will be hard for me to get over. The silent clock was very emotional for me....I hope Jack gets in that "Bill was my best friend, like a brother to me" when everyone else is moving on. The good thing is that Renee now sees that Jack does feel the same kind of pain.
RIP Bill

Here lies Bill Buchanan, a very brave soldier who gave his life to protect his country. We solute you for that Bill.
Former CTU director, friend, father, and much more
RIP My Friend

Adam - Oh yeah, forgot about Tony. I wonder whatever happened to that guy?

Apparently, he's still parked at the White House.

Tony is just out of the picture because he is a National Criminal and if he is caught he will spend his life in jail. Remember back at the safe house he said he was going to "sit this one out?" Well he didnt know he would miss all this

I never really cared for Bill, but after re-watching some bits from seasons 4-6, I do like him more, and I have to give him credit for being the most consistently-heroic character on the show, maybe tied with Michelle.(David's just a little behind them becuase of the shit he did in season 3, though I doubt Bill would've done anything different if he was in the same position.)

James Morrison, along with (of course)Kiefer Sutherland and Carlos Bernard, is probably the luckiest actor to ever live.

Maybe you should create a webstie called BuchananIsJesus.
